This is one of the better stud finders I have used. Not only does it beep and have LCD indicaters, it also throws out a beam of light that shows exactly where the edges of the studs are. What will they think up next.\n\nThe directions are included and easy to understand. I used it recently to hang several shelf brackets and it was dead on every wall stud.\n\nThe only negative thing I can say is that at times it didn't slide smoothly across the wall that was painted with flat latex over an orange peel texture. A little patience overcame that slight inconvenience.\n\nAll-in-all a good value for the money.

This is as simple as it gets. Spot-on stud sensor eliminates the "near misses" and multiple perforations in looking for wall studs. In one minute you've got what you want and move on to the next.

Not happy with product, did not work well. Found studs, but did not use laser pointer nor did it sound noise...Could be defective. Did not work as stated.
