StudSensor SL shines a bright beam of light when it finds the edges of studs and joists up to 3/4 inches (19 mm) deep. TruCal technology provides instant and accurate one-touch calibration each time StudSensor is used, automatically adjusting to the density and thickness of your particular wall. When the TruCal LED lights up on the right side of the sensing head, calibration is complete. The exclusive patented SpotLite® Pointing System shines a bright beam of light when you find a stud edge.
