Quantum - 75" Economy Shelf Storage Units

I own eight of these shelving units. The first three that I bought were awesome...totally easy to install and very sturdy. Then I decided to buy more of the shelving and was EXTREMELY disappointed to find out that they had changed their design of the shelving. Specifically, the way the metal on the shelves is "folded" making it impossible to get a wrench in the spot to hold the nut when tightening the bolt. I even contacted Quantum Storage thinking there was a mistake, since it was completely ridculous. I emailed them pictures of the two kinds of shelving to explain the problem with installation and was told that they had changed the design. They kept telling me I could hold the nut tight with the side of a screw driver as I tightened the nut. Obviously they had never actually put one of these shelving units together, as there is no way to get the bolt tight with this method...you need to have a wrench on the nut which is now impossible with theit new design. In any case, I got nowhere with Quantum Storage and now I have multiple shelving units that are completely wobbly. I have had to resort to bolting them together with another shelving unit to try to get some extra stability. Unfortunately, there is no similar shelving unit that I have found that could replace these.
