This series has been a mainstay of Platt's rugged case line for over 25 years. Light-duty , black, scuff resistant molded ABS thermoplastic helps form the tough shell of these cases. They are also foam-filled, have an extruded aluminum rim, drawbolt key locks, and a strong molded handle.

Comments about Platt Light-Duty ABS Series Case: 5" H x 10" W x 7" D (inside):

My company uses these to carry external hard drives too and from clients sites. I like the look of these and they fit our drives perfectly. It is exactly what I expected based on the description. We had to remove some of the foam since nothing can really fit in the case if you don't. My only real complaint is that the lock is pretty weak...it locks and doesn't pop open or anything, but if someone really wanted to get into it, it wouldn't be hard.
