Exclusive patented Accu-Set amperage indicator provides accurate heat control with infinite amperage control. DC output adds better control on thin work and easier out-of-position welding, as well as fewer arc outages, less sticking and spatter. Unit allows higher duty cycle when amperage decreases, unlike some competitive products in market. Infinite current control allows precise weld output adjustment; get the exact heat you need to produce a better weld. Output selector switch allows you to quickly select AC, DCEP or DCEN without adjusting the output leads. Forced-draft cooling fan ensures a cooler running product, extending the life of the power source. Thunderbolt XL 225/150 AC certified by Canadian Standards to both the Canadian and U.S. Standards.
