The YardMate shed is an easy-to-assemble outdoor storage solution for smaller yards. The contemporary design beautifies a backyard while maximizing space for yard tools or garden essentials. Constructed of durable all-weather vinyl in sandy beige, the YardMate shed is maintenance free. It will never need painting or treating. It will not rust, dent, rot, mildew or fade. It is also fire retardant and much quieter in the rain than metal sheds. The wall columns are reinforced with a solid metal structure, giving the shed a lot of strength and making it easy to hang shelves or garden tools. The YardMate 5.6' x 3.1' has 77 cubic feet of room with a 53" wide door opening. Each unit includes a dark green molded floor, a 72" high interior and a doublewide door set.

Truck Freight Additional Information:

This product is too heavy/large to ship via the small package delivery services (e.g. UPS, FedEx) so it will be sent to you via truck freight. Truck freight is different than standard UPS, FedEx or US Mail in that you will be responsible for carrying the product from the back of the truck into your house (or wherever it's going).

The most important thing to remember about truck freight is that you MUST inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.

If you are ordering a very large item, please keep in mind that you may need a couple of people to help unload it. Alternatively, most truck freight companies offer additional services to help you move items from the truck into your house. Once we email you the tracking information you can contact the shipper directly to inquire about additional services. You would be responsible for directly paying the truck freight carrier for any additional services.

Comments about Duramax Building Products YardMate and Floor (5.6' x 3.1'):

This shed was just as described. No surprises. [...].My only comment is that, while the shed does not require a foundation, it does require a pretty level, smooth surface. My side yard is a little off plane and a little rocky, so I decided to pour a foundation (which I should have done anyway, but was being lazy).That said, I would buy it again, and I would recommend it without hesitation to a friend. Here in the city, a small, attractive, durable, minimally invasive shed that tucks neatly against the house and does not require a team of engineers to figure out is a really good thing!
